Color Word Aprons

At the start of each year we work on color words. We spend a week working on each color. After noticing how much attention my students paid to what I was wearing I came up with the idea to put the color words on canvas aprons.  

 I wear the aprons all week. The students love them!

I've also noticed that my students have picked up the words faster since I began using the aprons.

 

These worked so well, that I am trying to come up with ideas for more wearable words.

Note: I would love to take credit for the fantastic artwork on these aprons, but I am not that good. A parent in my class saw my attempt at this project, and took pity on me. She decorated all of these aprons, and I am forever grateful.
